Building Construction and Technical Systems Installation

Implementation of technical systems projects requires an understanding of not just technology, but also of the impact technology has on building architecture. Technology projects almost always involve two distict installation processes; This includes architectural building construction and technical systems installation. Cabling infrastructure, power and grounding requirements, furniture and casework modifications, accoustical response, and impacts on heating ventalation and air conditioning (HVAC) all require coordination through the architectural process.

Architectural Building Construction - Infrastructure
The infrastucture that supports technical systems requires cooordinatin with building construction divisions. Our experience provides a means to track and control project changes through standardized AIA processes. From request for information (RFI) to change order proposal requests (COPR) to change orders (CO) , we know how to coordinate the construction processes while maintainind a team enviroment.

Technical Systems Installation - Superstructure
Typically just before completion of architectural building construction, technical systems installation begins. At this stage, coordination with architectural representatives and owner's staff for scheduling becomes significant. Punch list items that impact technical systems need to be defined before formal substantial completion of the construction componant is authorized. Coordination and resolution of such items are necessary for effctive roll out of the technology componant of projects. No one wants to be caugh with a surprise after the building contractor has left. We have the experience to ensure that infrastructure itema are addressed on a timely basis.
